Life doesn't get less overwhelming during the holidays.
Having lots to look forward to doesn't make our kids less stressed, less anxious, less overwhelmed.
Ask me how I know. 🤪
My kiddo loves Halloween.
This year, for us, is about finding the balance between celebration and normalcy.
She still needs space to process, to formulate her thoughts and articulate them.
Without that, bedtime boils over.
I share this so you know you aren't the only one
I share this to say reach out.
One of the reasons I coach parents of highly sensitive kids is because it's my lived experience.
I know how challenging it can be to be the sole witness their big emotions and have everyone around say they seem fine.
I know the frustration of trying to implement some strategy only to find your child can think their way around it.
I know how frustrating it is when it takes them ages to brush their teeth or put their shoes on.
I get it. And I have tools to help.
Please, don't hesitate. Reach out. 💜
